Frequently asked questions
What is Adjuco?
Adjuco is a web-based contest management and adjudication platform for music contests. Judges score on digital score sheets, results tabulate live, and organizers publish results to schools the same day.
Who is Adjuco for?
Contest organizers and fine arts staff who run band, orchestra, vocal, marching, mariachi, jazz, and indoor percussion and color guard contests, and the judges and directors who take part in them.
Do judges need an account or an app?
No. Organizers send each judge a magic link by text or email. Judges tap it and start scoring in the browser, with no account, password, or app download.
What kinds of contests does Adjuco support?
UIL band, orchestra, vocal and choir, marching band, mariachi, jazz, indoor ensembles, and solo and ensemble contests, with score sheets you can customize.
How do schools get their results?
Organizers publish results live on a public results page. Each school also gets a private portal link with its scores, written feedback, and the judges' audio recordings.
Does Adjuco work with AI assistants?
Adjuco is built to work with AI assistants, so an organizer's assistant can help set up a contest, keep an eye on it during the day, and handle busywork. A dedicated public interface for assistants is not available yet.
How do I get started with Adjuco?
We are onboarding contest organizers by invitation right now. Send us a note through the contact form and we will get back to you.
